These are the kind of weddings that I really enjoy since I felt I was part of the family since I photographed three cousins past weddings. It’s a real compliment when I get these types of referrals.

The weather and setting were amazing. When you put a beach, sunshine along with a fun and easy going couple you know you will get some amazing images.

Fleming Portrait Design wedding to be featured in Connecticut Bride

I was excited to learn today that a wedding I photographed at the Bee and Thistle Inn will be featured in next spring’s issue of Connecticut Bride magazine.

There is a great little park in Trumbull known as "Abraham Nichols Park". This park has some old trees, an old apple orchard and a community garden. We took some shots around the park and than we went to the town pool where Michaela and Walt met while working as lifeguards during a few summers.

It's been awhile since the last post. I think we were on a blogging hiatus but we are back.

I came across this blog and was really moved by the photo documentary of a son with his aging dad. The images and words were very moving. For anyone who is still lucky enough to have their parents around it makes you realize the importance of spending time with them to document life with them and just slow down to listen.......

Wow ---- it is officially live!

Fleming Portait Design’s new website has launched. I’m really excited it’s live on the Web. The planning and collaborating with the amazing Kristine Gukelberger from Vintage Images Design was fun. We’ve had her great husband Todd (an amazing videographer from Vintage Images), and their daughter over for dinner. I showed them magazine clippings of stuff I liked, and we talked over some good food and Belgian Beer to say what we wanted the re-design to accomplish and the importance of branding, design and ease of use for my potential clients.

Well, I’m really happy that it’s launched. It just feels good to showcase my images in a more contemporary way and for you to get insight into who I am as a photographer.

Santa made an early stop in Trumbull, CT tonight!

No snow, but Santa made a special visit with his firefighter friends at our house this evening. The Long Hill Fire Department brought Santa all decked out in a lighted firetruck. The kids had a great time getting a special present from Santa pre-XMAS. It was fun to see the excitement through their eyes along with our little guy running away from Santa! Special thanks to Robert for snapping some shots of us. Finally, a family photo along with our neighbors!
